Christmas time .... time to celebrate "JESUS" - the very Reason for the Season~ December 20 / 1-4 pm at Victoria Inn , JIL Manitoba (JIL 1, 2 & 3) had a glorious Sunday worship service. It was a celebration of God's faithfulness - having a blessed life to become a blessing to other people. Time to commemorate HIS love - the very first Christmas - that JESUS was born to save us - giving us abundant life forevermore ... the message of Christmas for everyone ... Be Blessed~

Part 2 was the "Christmas Concert" with the participation of the three (3) churches. Watching all the participants made me glad coz we have people who loves the LORD that much - giving their all for the Master.

Its been awhile ...since the last time I posted an update. Today I want to say hi to all of you~ How's everyone? I sincerely believe that you are all doing very well ... enjoying the favour of our God moment by moment.

We are on the 4th day of our meeting - Regional Management Team here at JIL Prayer Mission House. We will be here 'till the 7th of December. Tomorrow is the 1st day of CYN Leadership Summit, 18 of them will be in the summit.

We solicit your prayers as we continue to discuss the direction of JIL Canada for 2010. Your prayers will help to make things happen to have a Significant Impact next year.

September 20, 2009 in the city that SHINES "Saskatoon" the Jesus Is Lord Saskatoon Church, Saskatchewan Chapter celebrated its 1st Anniversary at TCU "Saskatoon Convention Center." It was a gathering of God's people coming from JIL Regina with the participation of the body of Christ and the officers / leaders from the Filipino Association here in Saskatoon.

~Rev. Bong Gonzales, Regional Pastor of Eastern Canada Region, overseeing the provinces of Ontario and Quebec was the anniversary speaker. He spoke about the importance of worship to support the theme: All Peoples Worship HIS Majesty!

"Church Recognition Certificate was given to Pastor Romy Cusay - JIL Saskatoon Church Pastor with the CMT / Cell Leaders. With this recognition ... we are in anticipation of mightier things ... are in store for JIL Saskatoon ... more challenges ahead of them ... for greater expansion of God's kingdom.

~Part 2: Prayer for the Nations:

Rev. Emilio Henares, pastor of River of Life Church, Bacolod, Negros Occidental prayed for the Philippines, Rev. Bong Gonzales did pray for Israel, Pastor Rose Gonzales prayed for Canada, Pastor Romy Cusay prayed over Saskatoon and I'm assigned to pray for the province of Saskatchewan. It was very powerful!

~ in every season - there is always a reason to celebrate GOD! For JIL Saskatoon - so much to ponder about: JIL WIN Summit, 1st Anniversary Celebration and the Dinner Fellowship after the service at Heritage Inn plus the singing contest. Indeed, it was a celebration! Congratulations to all the winners and to all who participated - who've proven yourselves that you can sing very well!~

~September 7 at Lawson Aquatic Center...the disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ made a public declaration of their faith. With the opportunity of witnessing of who they are - in the presence of those people around them.~

~It was an application for the encounter participants who haven't been baptized in water and for other brethren in the church.~

~it was a double celebration for Gizelle Franco... September 7 was her birthday!~
More blessed / fruitful birthdays to come and more of the LORD's presence!~

~with one voice ... saying ...what an honor to be called the followers of the King of
Kings and the Lord of Lords...the Lord JESUS CHRIST!~ Let your life shine forth always with in mind that ...HE is the reason for our existence!~

~after the water baptism ... had picnic / outdoor fellowship at Candy Cane Park... enjoyed the food and the fellowship ... it was awesome!

~JIL Saskatchewan Encounter Retreat (3rd Batch)

September 5 & 6...in the "Land of Living Skies' forty (40) people made an appointment with the Lord at Dallas Valley Ranch Camp ... 30 minutes away from Regina and less than three (3) hours drive from Saskatoon with three (3) people ... a family from Swift Current joined the Encounter Retreat of JIL Saskatchewan (3rd Batch). Our God is faithful - who never fail us ... allowing us to encounter HIM face to face.

~a portrait of people who had an Encounter with the Love of the Father, Inner Healed / Encounter themselves and Encounter with Cross~ To complete the package: Delivered, With Vision to follow through and Immersed in the Holy Spirit...had everything...to do the work of the LORD extra ordinarily ... the very best for HIS glory!

~the Encounter Speakers and the Ministering Team from JIL MB & SK who had a new / fresh touch from the Holy Spirit as they minister to the participants. It was another inspiration for all of us to witness the move of God in a very unique way ... completely different from the previous encounter retreat that we had.

~What Jesus Did On The Cross? No words to describe ... what the Lord has done for all of us! What I know - it is finished! What we need to do is to appropriate what the Lord has done for us ... claim all the benefits of the CROSS...it is available for everybody!

~to the Encounter Participants and the Ministering Team ... congratulations for doing a very good job. More to expect from the Lord ...let every day - moment by moment be a divine appointment / an encounter experience with our MASTER!~

~JIL Regina 17th Anniversary Celebration~

We made it ... 17 years of God's faithfulness to JIL Regina Church, SK Chapter. Today in the very heart of the city - Hotel Saskatchewan, the church of the true - living were gathered with one declaration - one voice that Jesus Is Lord that HIS name be exalted on high ... be known through out the city.

With all the presentations from the CYN / youth, dynamic praise and worship, the message ... the people who came - we had a glorious celebration of God! It was something to ponder about that our God is the author of all good things ... that we are all recepeints of unlimited favour from HIS very throne - the fulfillment of our theme: "The Year of Overflow!"

~Rev. Robert Aquino, Pastor of JIL Las Vegas Church, Nevada Chapter was back after 17 years here in JIL Regina Church, SK. He was the 1st anniversary speaker year 1992. He spoke about "Commitment to Christ!" He challenged the people of putting off the things that displeases the KING and put our complete trust to JESUS for us to really experience overflow in every area of our lives~

~The people responded / approached the altar when they were asked to surrender everything to the Lord ... anything that they need an answer must be submitted to the sovereignty of God~

~The WAM (VIA/JAM) was exuberant in leading the people to worship - becoming more undignified .. radical worshipers of God~

With Pastor Bert and Agnes ... her 1st time to step to the Land of Living Skies. Did tour around the city ... went shopping ... ate the best delicacy that only Regina can offer. Had dinner with he CMT ... plus the fellowship ... for sure they'll back!

~JIL Regina Church is rising ... moving forward ... in progression ... looking into another season of dedication / commitment / service to God - with an open heart of doing extra ordinary things for the Lord! You can do it ...We can do it ...With God!
...Once again ...congratulations - we still have one year to prepare for the 18th Anniversary on her debut! PTL!!!

~The Theme for the 3rd JIL International Summit in Sydney, Australia: "SIGNIFICANT IMPACT!" With the goal / objectives of strengthening JIL Churches locally (JIL Australia & New Zealand) and the International Churches, to align to the Mother Church Operation and Policies and to empower and equip the leaders / delegates to fulfill the MVV of JILC outstandingly. The delegates coming from the ten (10) nations has her / his word of testimony to share to their respective churches ... wait and hear from us when we get back ~

~Bro. Eddie C. Villanueva prayed for God's comfort to the family of former President Corazon Aquino and prayer for our beloved nation Philippines ... with one voice declaring that ...

~JIL MB 12 Anniversary Celebration~

It was a celebration of God's faithfulness to HIS church here in JIL Manitoba ... 12 years of God's goodness and loving kindness to HIS people. JIL Wpg 1, 2 & 3 were together for 2 days from August 1 and 2 with their families. The 1st day (Saturday) it was windy, cloudy somewhat like its going to rain but we were highly favored by the Lord - excellent weather was granted to us 'till the following day ... August 2! The atmosphere was so glorious - just to see families building / fixing their tents for the night - with our prayers not to rain.

Activities for the day (Saturday): Fellowship / bonding to one another, groupings for the 7 minute presentation (scene taken from the Bible to dramatize) - talents show, Word of Exhortation and Prayer of Commitment, Bonfire/Campfire with exuberant worship and with so much food for all - have your pick of what you want to eat~ It was very refreshing to have the experience of the touch of the Holy Spirit - with the commitment to be always on "fire" / burning up and not burning out.

August 2 / The 2nd day of the Celebration. The campers' were so excited - got up early in the morning for the 12 Anniversary Celebration enjoying the weather - worshiping God in an open field - a place without a roof - indeed it was and will be really an "OPEN HEAVEN!"

~JIL MB Praise and Worship Team: Gave the best for HIS glory - inside and/or outside the church ... God is to be glorifid for us to be satisfied ... the best and the holliest offering of Praise and Worship to the KING!~

~with the worshipers --- who adores the Lord with one purpsoe - that HE alone will be enthroned in our midst with an expectation of God HIMSELF to demonstrate HIS overflowing blessings to HIS church. It was a portait of alive - alert - enthusiastic church of the most HIGH GOD!~

~The brethren responded to the call of God for them to grow and to continously glow in their walk with the LORD with the promise of "OVERFLOW INTO OVEN HEAVEN BLESSINGS" in every area of our lives~ The Lord has inspired HIS people with the message - - - with the confirmation that HE is the Alpha and the Omega of our lives, family, church, city and in everything that concerns us all~

~ with the special prayers to the CYN / Youth - for them ... to set a standard - becoming the catalyst of God's fire - wherever they are. For the CYN to influence the world --- for the fulfilment of the MVV of CYN in JIL Church~ Go - CYN Go - for JESUS!~

July 26, 2009 - the Launching of JIL Winnipeg 3 "1st Church
Service.January 4, 2009 was the 1st service of JIL Wpg SE as an outreach. After six months from an outreach status to officially a church. It was so joyous celebration of God's faithfulness of HIS very church.

~JIL Wpg 3 Praise & Worship Team with the support of JIL Wpg 1 & 2 JAM - singing "Holy Spirit Overflow!" The anointing of Open Heaven was released from the very throne of God - it was so glorious ... so wonderful ... just to be in the presence of God! Receiving more of HIM...more and more ... just more of HIM!

Giving of the "Certificate of Recognition" as a church to the Church Management Team and to the entire congregation of JIL Wpg 3.~

~Bro. Vergil Penaranda as the Church Coordinator received the certificate. Congratulations to the Leadership of JIL Wpg 3 for running an extra mile. After the launching expect for more challenges. Much is given - much is required ... greater the reward!~

~ The CYN became the strength of JIL Wpg 3. With the theme taken from Matthew 16:18-19 - the charge was given to them to set an example before men. Prayer for one another took place - the CYN from Wpg 1 $ 2 prayed for the CYN of Wpg 3 with the agreement of everybody. Pledging themselves to follow the standard of God as the genuine church of the Living God~ Who is strong, firm, steadfast, endures - with the confession that Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living. For sure they will impact the world for JESUS!

~JIL Wpg 3 - the keys of the kingdom of heaven has been given / extended to you ... be a good steward of all the resources that the Lord has entrusted to each one of us. And expect super abundant blessings from the Lord ... beyond capacity...it overflows ... spilling over ... to the brim... spreading out!~

~Mission Trip to JIL Rome, Italy~

Left Milan - July 18 to Rome with Ptr. Benny Alcantara (RP of Southern Europe), Ptr. Amy Jovero (AP of JIL Rome), Ptr. Aldrin Navo (Director for International Operations) and Ptr. Monette Navo. It was a 4 1/2 hours trip by train - it was a dream came true for me. Our God has HIS own way on how to answer - with so many surprises ... to amaze us in so many ways. God's blessings are unstoppable - as HE opens the door of opportunities ... no one can stop it! It is really an open heaven blessings! With this opportunity - I am out of words on what to say .... but my heartfelt gratitude to our God, our leaders / pasto rs / congregation - thank you so much for having me as your partner / member of the team.

With so much to contemplate about with the success / God's mighty intervention during our Mission Trip in JIL Milan . Again, we are in expectation of mightier things of what the Lord will do in JIL Rome, together with JIL Napoli and Pisa. The Worship Service was great with the Word proclaimed by Ptr. Aldrin Navo - the congregation were inspired and experienced the transforming power of the Lord - the message received as a revalation and being challenged to go>grow>and glow in their walk with the Lord! The Leadership Seminar after the service -Praise the Lord!

~Thanks for our brethren who drove us around the city (not in the picture).

~Part of the blessing - of course not to miss the historical places of Rome. The picture behind us is "The Colosseum!" So much to say about the place but I'm out of words on how to describe it.

~The truth is ---It is imprinted in my heart ---how thankful am I to see the place. In fact, my pastors saw the place already but they spent their time to tour me around - not to miss it. We walked hours from morning to evening - until we did say our feet were giving up.

~We walked where Apostle Paul Walked~ It was an awesome expereinced - just to remind us of the story of the place ---where the Lord brought us --- is something to really appreciate God's faithfulness!

~Look at the four (4) servants of the Most High God - exploring the land of Rome with in mind that in every region of Rome --- JIL Churches will be established as we claim Joshua 1:3.

~July 22 ... early in the morning we were at the airport to catch our flight back to Canada. It was a long trip with the time difference between continents ... as of this writing ... I say thank you again and again for all your prayers.~

~July 12 - JIL Milan Sunday Worship Service with thousand members of the congregation gathered together to honor the sovereignty of God Almighty. The Leadership who has just received the fresh anointing from the Lord in Moving Forward were so excited to occupy the land till JESUS' comes ... expanding to the nine zones of Milan, Italy~

Pastors and Spouses Conference at Holiday Inn, Milan, Italy. Pastors together with their family traveled from different parts of Southern Europe to receive new insights, fresh touch / strength from the Lord ... and from one another.

~ CYN Youth Week (5th day): "Theme: "DRIVEN BY ETERNITY - YOUR LIFE COUNT TODAY AND FOREVER!"

"Concert!" Showcase the talents of the young people in singing, dancing, drama/skit and hand-mine! Invited friends came forward after the exhortation of the Word of God by Pastor Ronald Duro of JIL Switzerland.

~ congratulations to Rev. Benny (Regional Pastor of Southern Europe) and his wife Sis. Angie Alcantara - - - so as to the entire pastoral / leadership team. Indeed, 2009 is year of "OPEN HEAVEN" to all~ We are all recipients of God supernatural favor from HIS very throne!~

We are on our 2nd day with Pastor Aldrin Navo, Director for International Operations giving us the objectives and directions. With the updates / praise reports from the outreaches wherein the JIL Canada Pastors are assigned like the opening of JIL New York / New Jersy and the present status of JIl Sacramento and Seattle and soon to be opened BS in San Francisco gave us so much encouragement and inspiration that our partnership has the mighty favour / blessings from God HIMSELF. We are working together enthusiastically that made things possible and seeing results fulfilling the mandate given to us. Making ourselves available everywhere - if needed - it will cause the existing churches in North America to be strengthened, more churches will be built up / established because of the ownership of the vision and the power of teamwork.

It was another opportunity to be with our family / brethren in our church in LA. A fruitful and a very meaningful 1month mission work to assist our church and to be with our church planting team. So many things had happened - that proves God's faithfulness to HIS church...that HE is in control of every life and every situation. Praise HIS Holy Name!

~My 1st Sunday Service, May 24. Prayer of recognition for the Church Planting Team Leadership after the service.~ Ready to launch out into the the deep to conquer LA for JESUS CHRIST!~ Started a Bible Study / Cell Group then having a midweek service and eventually becoming a church service.

~Church Planting Team at Eagle Rock Mall. We were looking for a possible venue to hold our services. Scouted the area and the neighboring areas. Very soon, the midweek service will start to the next city, Glendale City (not very far).

~Church Planting Leadership Meeting with the Director for International Operations, Pastor Aldrin and his wife Pastor Monette Navo. We are excited of what the Lord will do in the coming days. We are all in expectation with so much anticipation for mightier things are yet to come in this city.
~We have representatives of the next generation. The children of the Church Planting Team attended the meeting - having an ownership of the project as family.

~On our last Sunday the Leadership / Congregation of JIL Azusa, LA prayed for us after the service. The entire church has been inspired of the message that was preached by Pastor Aldrin Navo about moving into the nexr steps...!~

~All glory and honour are all YOURS My KING~ To all my leaders / pastors thank you very much for the trust. I am very blessed to have this kind of opportunity - ministering to our brethren in different churches / places.

Again, I ask of your prayers ... from June 29 to 30: JIL USA & Canada Pastors' will have a meeting in BC. I believe this meeting will enhance our relationship as partners in the Lord to work together in HIS kingdom!~

June 16, 2009 - attended the "The Middle School Awards Ceremony" of Jappy Navo, the eldest son of Ptr. Aldrin and Monette Navo at Regent Christian Academy, Surrey, BC. It was very inspiring to witness the goodness of the Lord in the lives of our younger generation receiving awards from different category. Seeing them excelling academically and even in the area of sports, music - - - God is just fulfilling HIS very purpose in their very young age - in preparation for their destiny - for greatness!

~Keep up the good work "Jappy" for JESUS! Keep shining for the Master - you are the best. You got the wisdom of the Lord - what He've started in your life - He is going to continue it - supernaturally...more than you ask or think.

~June 25, at Hilton Suites, Winnipeg, MB, another prove of overflowing blessings from the Lord, indeed overflowing of trophies / awards in the life of Jireh Martiniano, CYN Head of JIL Wpg 2. He got them all - all the major awards - can't mention one by one - I might be missing something. It was overwhelming and an inspiration as well! He is one of the graduates of Faith Academy 2009. Our declaration for 2009 is really happening in all areas! We are all rejoicing with you for a remarkable achievements you've got in High School. For sure their would be more to come as you enter into college / university...you can do it outstandingly. Run the race and always go for the gold - God made you to have the best - go for it! Jireh is the only son of Bro. Lito and Sis. Emily Martiniano. Congratulations!

~June 3, LA, CA, USA, Sarah Velasquez graduated as a Nurse. She is the eldest daughter of Ptr. Ed & Sahlen Velasquez (who passed away the following day) of JIL Azusa, LA Church. It was HIStory! ~

Sunday Worship Service - Preachers from JIL SK preached to JIL Wpg churches.
Area Management Team Meeting after the service of JIL Wpg 2 with the participation of JIL Regina & Saskatoon CMT.
May 18 (Victoria Day) went to Steinback / Prayer Drive / Scout the Land for JESUS!
~Cell Leaders and JIL 12 Students from School of Leaders 1 & 2 prayed with despiration ... praying and made a vow unto the Lord to take over and rekindle the fire in their hearts. Becoming the best Cell Leaders and crying out for the Anointing of Multiplication and view the world as God sees it! ~

~JIL Area 5 - MIS Training. It was very informative with the info given by Bro. Joseph Eserio - MIS Head of Area 5. Bro. Vergil Penaranda gave insights on how to do the picture on the website - talks about - the HOW tos of doing it: Balance, theme, color and other things to improve it the more. Sis. Lhynn Vea - Cut to Cut Production - inspires the trainees and the MIS Head per church on how to do the Video Editing~

~The Preaching Team of JIL MB/SK - Area 5: (L-R) Bro. Dranreb Lucero and Rico Yabut - JIL Regina; Ptr. Romy Cusay - Church Pastor of JIL Saskatoon; Ptr. Mary O. Juarana; Ptr. George dela Rosa - Church Pastor of JIL Wpg 2; Rene Estabillo - Church Coordinator of JIL Wpg 1 and Vergil Penaranda - Outreach Coordinator of JIL Wpg SE. The very first time that we were together - exhorting one another as we listened to them preaching the Word of the Lord - JIL SK Preachers did proclaim the Word ... lets continue to do exploits in the Lord~

~Area Management Team Meeting after the service: Reporting time ... updates of the present status of the churches. It was good to strategies and make a review of the things happening per church. It gives strength to the members to see the move of God - with an expectation of greater things are yet to come as we work together - running into one vision!~ God's vision for the church is to grow ... that's why we are all in awe of the acts of God in each ones life - our families - employment - overflowing manifestation of God's favour and provision1~

~Victoria Day (May 18) - we went to Steinbach, 45 minutes drive from Winnipeg. We prayed for the city - declaring that JESUS IS LORD OVER THE CITY - HIS KINGDOM COME HIS WILL BE DONE!~ We did proclaim Joshua 1:3 - wherever we put our foot upon it is our inheritance - we ask of HIM ... Steinbach City--- for JESUS CHRIST! (Psalm 2:8)~

It was HIStory ... prayers were offered while we drove around the city~

Thanks to Bro. Steve & Sis. Lina for accommodating us at their parents house. We had a joyous fellowship and looking forward to see the work of the Lord prosper in this city as part of Church Planting Program of Area 5.

~JIL MB Basketball Tournament~

May the 9th was the start of the tournament with 4 teams, (green, red, yellow and blue) 54 players participated. Started with prayer, pledged to comply with the rules ... spirit of sportsmanship to prevail ... with an aim of winning ... to have the gold at the end of the tournament but not to forget what the real objective of being in the team ... it is all for HIM ... GOD'S GLORY ... being a good team player!

Well supported event by church members and members of families. Young and old had fun together. For some - it was hard which team to cheer coz members of the family are players of different teams. Over - all it creates excitement in the church and looking forward for next schedule. It is a 4 Saturdays event 7 to 10 pm and with the hope of becoming champion at the end of the game.

~with all hopes of winning the gold - becoming champion. We will see how they will play next Saturday until the end~

~ look at them ... with all smiles - with the message that the yellow team can offer something that will surprise us all ... next game~go yellow team go...

~what about the blue team ... what can they offer? the strength of the youth - count on them and we will see what will happen next game.

~congratulations to the organizers...committees of making this event - a successful one: MEN'S NETWORK ... knowing that your labour will always be rewarded by the Lord!

Gave birth to 10 children (6 girls and 4 boys , 2 died) with all smile on her face to see us serving God - enjoying life in the Lord. Her utmost prayer for us is to serve the purpose of God in our generation.

To be with her (4) grandchildren (Miquel (on white shirt), Caloy (black) , Luis (green) and Aaron) became her strength. A happy lola for 4 boys and praying to have girls in the family.

Mama - just to let you know - no one can take your place in our hearts ... of who we are - NOW - you made us the way God's intention for us to be...! Though for so long years we haven't been with you to celebrate Mother's Day but you are being remembered as Proverbs 31 for all of us: "Our Proverbial Mother!"

April 27 - was another celebration hosted by JIL Regina. They have their own way of demonstrating their love - in a very unique way. With all the roses, cake, greetings, gifts, food ... prayers ... I may fall short of what to say ... I can't find a word on what to say but with all my heart ... maraming salamat sa inyong lahat.

May 02 - another surprise party from JIL Saskatoon. With all the preparations of Ptr. Romy and Sis. Vilma and brethren - it was spectacular. The food - though not 50 dishes (as planned) --- it was overflowing. As what I mentioned to JIL Wpg, Regina so as I want to thank you all for your love and prayers ... all your gifts, greetings - special mention ... the picture frame ... wow ... maraming salamat~

~with all the preparations ... my heartfelt gratitude to all who participated ... you made my day a glorious one~

April 18 at Johnson Howard Hotel, Winnipeg - JIL Wpg brethren (Wpg 1, Wpg 2 & Wpg SE) did something extra-ordinary as an advanced celebration for my 50th birthday. The venue was very symbolic for me - this was the place I conducted the 1st Child dedication when I moved to JIL Wpg and the same place when I officiated the 1st Wedding ceremony since I became an ordained minister.It was a gesture of love from the leaders, workers and members of the church. Just to make it possible - to surprise me for sure - a Child Dedication turned to be my 5oth Birthday Party. With the participation of families - it became a joyous occasion with all the balloons all over the place, the 50 roses, the cake, power point presentation, special numbers ... the decorations ... your gifts ... the food ... your prayers ... what can I say? Maraming salamat sa inyong lahat ... you made my 5oth birthday a memorable one!

~After the 50 roses from men, (Adults, CYN & Children) it was a prayer of agreement led by Ptr. Geroge dela Rosa.

~The Area Management Team Members who worked together with the CMT and members per church became this celebration successful~

~The men who gave the roses ... with all smiles ... as they are faithful in serving the Lord ... the entire household of each of them ... they will serve God together~

~the women who made all the decorations ... made the place as beautiful as it can be ... with all joy and satisfaction of the result of their labor of love~

~look at the young people (CYN) ... ready to take over ... in their prime years ... becoming more radical in serving God and excited to be sent forth anywhere~

~with our children ... made my party complete~

It was really good ... Good Friday Service / April.

10. We atended two (2) services, [JIL Wpg and Filipino Inter-Church Fellowship (FICF)].

JIL Wpg Good Friday Service:

The eight (8) CYN Cell Leaders exhorted the Seven (7) Sayings of Jesus on the Cross. Our CYN made another mark / milestone on their service unto the Lord. As they answer the call of God - they are making a difference ... giving impact to the next generation as they are doing exploits today - in preparation for tomorrow. During their prime years, no one can stop them in fulfilling the mandate of God in their lives and that is ... to serve God and the nations of the world!

To the parents ... Congratulations ... you taught / raise them well! Thank you very much for your unceasing support and prayers - you are leaving a legacy that will be remembered by all generations!

~my partners in the LORD... keep up the good work - we still have more work to do in HIS kingdom ... we are in partnership with the Sovereign God!

There were sixteen (16) Participating Churches supported the event: "Good Friday Service!" It was an annual event - the number of churches and the attendance every year increases. Approximately a thousand or more attended the event at Calvary Temple Church. God is being honoured by the unity of the leaders / pastors / churches... God's presence was in action as we lifted up HIS name - in one voice - with the desire of having the favourable audience of ONE - the LORD JESUS CHRIST!

To all the pastors / leaders with all sincerity ... thank you very much for allowing me to share the WORD of God yesterday ... your prayers, support and encouragement - it is always in my heart - 'till next year!

March 29 to April 3 - JIL Canada Area Pastors' Meeting in BC - JIL Prayer House. It is a joy for us to be together - it is time of sharing ... to be with our support group is always a celebration of God's faithfulness!

As we presented our reports, we are all in awe of the results... what an accomplishments ... overflowing of God's blessings in the church. Our Lord is just fulfilling the destiny for HIS churches in all areas ---that is to grow!

Left Arizona, USA, yesterday afternoon. Thanks to Bro. Sam & Sis. Mel de Asis for accommodating us - at their beautiful home with a 7 star or more ... kind of accommodation. Driving / touring us around the city - showing us the state of Arizona with the leaders together with their family. Not to forget - the generosity of Bro. Jerry and Sis. Hyasmin for allowing us to use their shop for our nightly sessions. So as the CMT members, for their passion in serving God and the people - it was very inspiring / encouraging to see them serving the Lord with an intention of giving the best for HIS glory.

Arizona (AZ) is for JESUS ... the Alpha and the Omega ... A to Z! The beginning and the end - HE IS GOD!

On this Mission Trip to JIL Arizona - it increases my understanding of "Who Is God" and "Who Am I To HIM!" How HE intervenes in every situation 'till the end - yes I know, I am / we are in partnership with the Sovereign God - who is abundantly able to perform supernatural act on behalf of HIS people and I'm one of them!

Arrived Winnipeg on time ... from Phoenix Airport to Calgary, waited less than 3 hours for my next flight to Winnipeg. I'm still adjusting from hot to cold temperature ... Praise the Lord - for allowing me to experience different weather!

Maraming salamat ...thank you very much - to my leaders / pastors ... of the trust and to all who did pray for us. To JIL Wpg 1, Wpg 2, Wpg SE, Regina and Saskatoon leadership and congregations - thank you for all your prayers.

Praise the Lord! The School of JIL 12 Vision has been successfully done in JIL Arizona, USA. The eight (8) leaders are excited and preparing themselves for the Encounter Retreat. Giving them the overview of JIL 12 Vision - inspire them the more to do the work of the Lord ... becoming more enthusiastic and visionary ... with the vision for the multitudes.

JILC vision made us realize that we are very unique: Our Preferred Future State:“A GLORIOUS CHURCH evangelizing and discipling Filipinos, and all peoples of the world through teaching and preaching the full Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.” Wherever we are - whom are we encountering with - it is an opportunity to tell people of God's love... to bring them to the kingdom of the Living God... for them to experience the saving, healing, delivering knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ! I am one of the privilege servant of the most High God to minister to our brethren in JIL Arizona - our wonderful, and loving family in the Sun City of Arizona.

~Mission Trip to JIL Arizona Updates~

Greetings from the Sun city - Grand Canyon State "Arizona!" Ptr. Amy and I arrived in here 13th of March to introduce the School of the JIL 12 Vision and we'll be back on the 24th to Canada (Edmonton and Winnipeg).

We are in the middle of our assignments. We've started last Saturday, the 14th - whole day of Saturday and nightly session everyday since Monday and we will have the final sessions on Saturday the 21st. We are very grateful of the trust for allowing us to do the work of the LORD in our church in JIL Arizona for the leaders to have the overview of JIL 12 Vision.

The School of JIL 12 Vision in JIL Arizona started with eight (8) people / leaders in the living room of Bro. Sam & Sis. Mel de Asis (Outreach Coordinator). The G12 in Bogota, Columbia, International Charismatic Church started with 8 people in the living, too. Since then, they are experiencing exponential growth that inspire us with so much rejoicing in expectation that greater things are yet to come in JIL Arizona - indeed "Year of Overflow" is in manifestation in the lives of our brethren, families, employment ... our cup runneth over!

March 3, LOVE Winnipeg: Annual Meeting at Church of the Rock. It was a gathering of different churches with a common goal of lifting up the Name of Jesus Christ – not the name of any other church but HIS … the Name that is higher than any other name – JESUS! This gathering demonstrates the love of the redeemed to the MASTER – the very reason of the meeting – as we lift up the name of Jesus …ALL MEN WILL DRAW NIGH UNTO HIM!

The meeting started with dynamic Praise and Worship followed by the exhortation of the word of God taken from Jeremiah 29:7 “And seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to be carried away captive, and pray to the Lord for it; for in its peace you will have peace. With the spirit of unity exhibited by the Body of Christ: “Pastors / Leaders from different churches and the love / ownership of the land / city assigned to us – for sure we did touch the “Heart of the Father!”

The intercession of God’s people were presented before the throne of God: We prayed for each individual commitment to the said event; more churches / people to commit for this year than last year (88 participating churches); spirit of innovation / creativity; finances - spirit of generosity… and more!

My utmost appreciation to all committees / organizers of LOVE Winnipeg for the free supplies for LOVE Winnipeg promotion – cds, pamphlets, booklet and even T-shirt (new – red shirt) so as the free lunch!

"WINNIPEG IS THE CENTRE-PEG" welcomes the World! With a shout of victory..."HIS Kingdom Come HIS Will Be Done In Our City ... JESUS IS LORD over our city!

February 27, Friday Prayer Service was sponsored by the Christian Youth for the Nations (CYN). With the participation of the Life Group Networks (LGN) - the congregations of JIL Wpg 1, Wpg 2 and Wpg SE the gathering became glorious. It was like what had happened in the book of Acts when the early church gathered together to pray in one place.
“...Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him!” Acts 12:5!

Prayer is both a right and privilege of redeemed man. Prayer is man giving God the freedom to intervene on earth’s affair. True prayer is maintained through oneness of heart and purpose with God.

IT IS NOT OPTIONAL. IT IS ESSENTIAL FOR THE FULFILLMENT OF GOD’S PURPOSES ON EARTH.

PRAYER IS THE INVOLVEMENT OF ONE’S WHOLE SELF WITH GOD.
Prayer pleases God...constantly with fervency - lets continue to offer Prayers to GOD for the needs of other people, church, city, family by us - the church.

February 21 and 22, at Camp Assiniboia, 30 minutes drive from the city- 2 days away from home for the purpose of Encountering God. It was a dramatic / live changing experience for the Encounter Participants with an objective of having a radical - visible change in their lives. Every Encounter Retreat God put a mark - HIS very signature to every participant - HIS authentication of Himself!

God has HIS way of touching people in every Encounter Retreat, though we are teaching the same topics but completely different move of the Holy Spirit - extra ordinary, unique kind of...! You have to be one of the participants for you to know / expalin it. The enemies dominion / tactics in the lives of the people came to an end - has been exposed and been dealt with. To encounter the Love of the Father is something to contemplate - really He never fail us - the very reason that we can face our selves - because of the abundant love of HIM.

What can we ask of our God - He gave HIS Son "JESUS" to give us power - to appropriate what the LORD has done on the CROSS! We are all over-comers - it is FINISHED! At the foot of the CROSS --- salvation, healing, deliverance --- everything is available ---heaven can offer!

February 14, 2009: was a "Night to Remember" for JIL MB Couples with the participation of the singles "YAM" at Victoria Hotel - Airport...with an excellent service plus eat and drink all you can - a very good deal!

On February 6, 2009, Christian Youth for the Nations (WPG) supported the MISSIONFEST MANITOBA. The event was held at Immanuel Pentecostal Church. It was called the ‘Friday night youth and young adult experience’ and was joined by different youth groups across the province. The night opened with a lively praise and worship lead by a Spanish worship team called, six5one. the night was also participated by different bible schools and Christian universities encouraging the young people to get themselves involved in inner-city missions and even international ones. the night was completed by an inspiring message delivered by George Verwer of World Missions Advocate who challenged and ministered to the youth about making themselves available and answering to the ultimate calling in Isaiah 6:8, “whom shall I send?”. The night was well attended by crowding young people and was ended by another inspiring worship lead by Juno Award winner, Amanda Falk who sang her very own compositions.

February 7, 2009. REAL LOVE.. when does it begins?This year for the first time ever, CYN hosted a LOVE, COURTSHIP and MARRIAGE seminar that would encourage the young audience on how to date. This valentines special event took place at the Jesus is Lord Church and was well supported by both young and adults in the church. The seminar was conducted by Pastor Mary Juarana who taught about LOVE and asked the youth the very intriguing question of , “am I in love?”. Followed by Rene Estabillo who spoke about Courtship and Pastor George dela Rosa who concluded the seminar talking about marriage. The topic became more interesting as the youth raised up questions during the open forum. The event ended with an eating fellowship sponsored by the CMTs and some of the parents. This first time event marks another of CYN Winnipeg’s history accomplishment as they work hand in hand to bring the youth together and learn about Christian Darting.

JIL Saskatoon Ministry Updates~

I went to Saskatoon after the Leadership Camp and Meeting at Dallas Valley Ranch Camp, January 24, 2009 while Pastor Romy Cusay to Regina together with the delegates to preach the following day with the theme: "Opportunities in the City!" In the midst of recession God's people are being promoted, many people are coming to work in Saskatchewan. It is God's opportunity that - HE is abundantly able to perform extra ordinary things on behalf of HIS people / church. JIL Saskatoon is ... indeed shining as it is what Saskatoon City is known for "Saskatoon Shine!" It is the fulfillment of our declaration for 2009 "Year of Overflow!" God is bringing people from different places ... skilled workers ... as nominee under family category and families were united because of the program and serve the Lord together. It is God's way of fulfilling HIS agenda: JIL people and non-JIL came to work and became members of JIL Church, in partnership for the expansion of God's kingdom. JIL Saskatoon is flourishing for JESUS and becoming radical in proclaiming the Gospel to many ... to have fellowship in love and joy... it is "Overflow in the Ministry!"

Zech. 1:17 '"Proclaim further: This is what the Lord Almighty says: 'My towns will again overflow with prosperity, and the Lord will again comfort Zion and choose Jerusalem."

We are believing ... with our declaration that JIL Saskatoon will celebrate their 1st Church Anniversary this year 2009. Praise the Lord!

JIL Saskatoon is becoming a family church: Sis. Vangie as the worship leader and her son Tom is the drummer. Tom is one of the youngest drummers in our area - if not in JIL Canada. Just five (5) months in JIL Canada Saskatoon - went into training and now ... he is one of the best!

In the ministry - everyone is welcome... join now and be a servant of the Most High God!

Pastor Romy made it on time for the Dedication of Philip James Ganir, 1st son of Mr. & Mrs. Philip Ganir. PJ is the 1st child dedicated in JIL Saskatoon Church (new venue) and this year 2009.

PJ was dedicated to the Lord with the agreement of the parents, godparents and congregation!

REGINA, SASKATCHEWAN, "LAND OF LIVING SKIES"

Regina, Saskatchewan is not a well known place to most people. I remember when I told my brother that I’m going to Regina he said, “where is that, I can’t find it in the globe?”

Regina, the Latin word for "queen," was originally called Pile O'Bones and Saskatchewan comes from a Cree name means "swift flowing river".

Yes, God brought me to Regina, Saskatchewan 17 years ago, the “Land of Living Skies”, the most wonderful place in the whole world to live. According to the recent news, it’s number one in the economy now a days despite of the recession.

I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Saviour December 10, 1989 in Hong Kong and went to Canada in January 23, 1992. In February 1992, the Jesus Is Lord (JIL) Church started in Regina and I am one of the pioneer amongst seven women. Within the 17 year’s of existence, I have seen the transformation of the church. People are coming and going, Sunday service were jumping from one location to another, attendance are going up and down, etc... In spite of these, there is one thing that I have witnessed, “GOD’S FAITHFULNESS.”

There is a season for everything and a reason for all things. I know that I will be living Regina but I don’t know when. My personal prayer to God when the time comes, that He will remove me from Regina if there will be more dedicated and committed people in the church. Our attendance grew year of 2008 and the nice part is, He brought people who have a heart to serve and follow Him. Glory to God!

Brethren on the above picture fervently worshipped and prayed to God for His anointing. The picture on the right side was taken during the anointing of oil Sunday service done by Rev. Mary Juarana. Families forwarded desiring the touch of God. It was cold outside the building but the presence of God kept us warm inside.

In addition, we now have a permanent place for our Sunday service and for other activities. The new owner of the building even allowed us to live our instruments and stuff in the facility. What an awesome favour from God.

FAREWELL, ADIOS, AU REVOIR

Adios Patria Adora, that was our National Hero Jose Rizal said before his execution in Luneta, Philippines. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not being executed, I’m just moving to another place. Have you heard of Medicine Hat, Alberta, where Canadian Idol Kalan Porter lives? That’s where my husband Abdul and I are moving on January 17. He got a job there last August and I will be looking for one soon too. Please don’t forget to pray for us.

After our anointing of oil Sunday service last January 11, I was given a surprise farewell party. Not really a surprise because I have known about it. Thanks beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, it is very much appreciated.

The children did a presentation, they cut off papers and turn it into hearts, musical notes, cross, flowers, smiley face etc... they said those shapes represents me... very nice and cute.

The CYN did a unique presentation, they've recorded their messages on video and flashed it on the screen while giving me roses... very sweet.

The adult tried to make me cry I think but I just couldn’t. Why? I’m not really going that far, Medicine Hat is just four to five hours drive from Regina. I will be back once in a while and I will be seeing them again.The truth is, God had prepared my heart for this. I have been crying since last year because Regina has always been my second home. My husband even gave me the liberty to choose whether to move or stay in Regina and he will just come home on his day off or vice-versa. Change is good, right?

Sometimes we have to move out from our comfort zone and go to a faith zone and explore new things in life that God is bringing us. New place, new people, new challenges, isn’t that what makes us grow and be closer to God? Separation is painful at times but everything is temporary, all of us are on a journey and I believe God is leading me to another chapter in my life. Matthew 14:27b says, “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.” God's word of assurance.

To my husband Abdul, for his understanding; to friends and relatives, for the support; to all my pastors, for the guidance and encouragement; to people who dislike me, it was just God’s way of teaching me humility and forgiveness; and most of all, thank you to our Almighty God whose love and comfort I have felt within my 17 years in Regina.

Let overflow continues for the year 2009 in the church and in our lives.

Every year JIL Canada has a theme:
· 2006 – Year of Greater Harvest
· 2007 – Year of Breakthrough
· 2008 - Year of Conquest
... Because of God’s faithfulness from the previous years – fulfilling His promises to us, we are indeed in great expectation that 2009 “Year of Overflow” is in manifestation even before we made the declaration. Our cups runneth over – superabundantly HIS provision will be experienced by God’s people as we put our trust on HIM. New season of God’s favour...there shall be showers of blessing in everything – we expect the Overflow!

During our 1st HI5 Gathering, January 4, 2009, JIL Wpg Worship Center, we received a Word from the Lord to hold on for this year in the book of Ezekiel 34: 26-31: 25 "And I will make a peace agreement with my sheep. I will take harmful animals away from the land. Then the sheep can be safe in the desert and sleep in the woods. 26 I will bless the sheep and the places around my hill. “I will cause the rains to fall at the right time and shower them with blessings.” 27 And the trees growing in the field will produce their fruit. The earth will give its harvest, so the sheep will be safe on their land. I will break the yokes on them and save them from the power of the people who made them slaves. Then they will know that I am the Lord. 28 They will not be caught like an animal by the nations anymore. Those animals will not eat them anymore. No, they will live safely. No one will make them afraid. 29 I will give them some land that will make a good garden. Then they will not suffer from hunger in that land or suffer the insults from the nations anymore. 30 Then they will know that I am the Lord their God.
